Man sentenced to 37 months for bank robbery

MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) - A man was sentenced to 37 months in prison for bank robbery, U.S. Attorney Sean Costello of the Southern District of Alabama announced.
U.S. District Judge Kristi K. DuBose handed down the sentence to Montreal Leonta Anderson.
According to court documents, Anderson, 30, entered a PNC Bank branch in Mobile on March 3, 2025. Anderson handed a teller a note demanding money.
The teller activated the silent alarm, and officers with the Mobile Police Department responded and took Anderson into custody.
