Warrant authorized for person of interest in Auburn bank robbery

ABC 12 New - Bay County, MI

BAY COUNTY, Mich. (WJRT) - A warrant has been authorized for a person of interest in a bank robbery that happened last month in Bay County.

Bay County Sheriff's deputies arrested a 47-year-old man on Aug. 29 for outstanding warrants not related to the bank robbery. The arrest came two days after a man walked into the Huntington Bank in Auburn, indicated he had a gun and made off with some money.

No one was hurt in the robbery.

The 47-year-old man is now facing a warrant in Bay County in connection with that bank robbery. When he was arrested, he was wanted in Gladwin County on an unrelated case and is currently in that county's jail.
