Mobile man and woman found guilty of conspiracy to commit bank fraud totaling $25 million

MOBILE COUNTY, Ala (WKRG) – Two Mobile residents have been found guilty of conspiracy to commit bank fraud involving $25 million.
According to the United States Department of Justice, 45-year-old Kartarius Dewan Johnson and 39-year-old Danisha Anita Foster conspired to commit bank fraud while Johnson was an inmate at the Escambia County Detention Center in Brewton.
At the time of the incident, Johnson was serving a 19-year and four-month sentence for previous fraud schemes, aggravated identity theft and providing false statements to a federal agent.
