Suspect arrested after Jackson bank robbery

JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – Capitol police announced a suspect was arrested after a bank robbery in Jackson.
Bailey Martin, spokesperson for the Mississippi Department of Public Safety (MDPS), said the incident occurred at Chase Bank on I-55 Frontage Road around 10:00 a.m. on May 9, 2026.
The suspect who was taken into custody has not been identified.
Martin said the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has taken the lead on this case.
