Bank of Hawaii glitch fixed after accounts show missing funds

KHON 2

HONOLULU (KHON2) — The banking scare that left some customers seeing missing money and negative balances is now resolved.

Bank of Hawaii said the technical glitch behind it has been fixed.

After a stressful day for customers across the islands, Bank of Hawaii says the system tied to a mainland service provider has now been corrected, and accounts should be back to normal.

This morning, customers reported alarming problems: missing deposits, zero balances and even negative accounts.
