'I'll kill you all': Mass. man who threatened shootings at 3 banks during robberies pleads guilty

Yahoo News

A Chelsea man pleaded guilty to three armed bank robberies where he threatened to shoot people during each robbery last year, United States Attorney Leah Foley’s office said Tuesday.

Keywan Kelly, 30, pleaded guilty to three counts of armed bank robbery on Monday, Foley’s office said in a statement. U.S. District Court Judge Nathaniel Gorton scheduled Kelly’s sentencing for Nov. 12. Kelly was previously arrested in August 2024 and indicted in September 2024.

At around 11:52 a.m. on July 1, 2024, Kelly walked inside a Bank of America in Weymouth, donned in gloves and a medical mask, Foley’s office said. He walked up to a bank teller at a window and gave a handwritten note that demanded the teller give him $20,000.
