CSPD: Christmas Eve bank robbery leads to arrest

(COLORADO SPRINGS) — According to the Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) officers responded to a bank robbery on Pikes Peak Avenue near downtown on Christmas Eve, Tuesday, Dec. 24, leading to an arrest of an unrelated man with warrants.
According to CSPD, officers arrived at the corner of Wahsach Avenue and Pikes Peak around 4 p.m. and learned that a man had entered the bank and presented a demand note. He then ran from the bank with an undisclosed amount of cash.
