Police investigating Hancock Whitney bank robbery on Government Street

BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - The Baton Rouge Police Armed Robbery Detectives are investigating a robbery that took place on Thursday afternoon, Dec. 26, at the Hancock Whitney location on Government Street.
Authorities say an older man walked into the bank unarmed shortly after noon and made a verbal threat demanding money. According to officials, the man left the bank on foot after the teller gave him approximately $300.
