Fargo woman arrested, accused of stealing $500,000 worth of inventory from former employer
Valley News Live
FARGO, N.D. (Valley News Live) - A Fargo woman has been arrested on felony theft charges, accused of stealing hundreds of thousands of dollars from her former employer.
Leymah Lopai is charged with theft over $50,000.
After his own months-long investigation, the owner at Bloc Galleries called police. Bloc Galleries is a business dealing in collectibles, specializing in paper money banknotes.
Court documents say the owner fired Lopai in May 2024, after a trade show in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Around that time, he conducted a review of his inventory and found 500 collectible banknotes were missing, valued at $250,000.
