OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - A man accused of trying trying to rob a bank in Omaha changed his plea Friday, court documents say.
Willie Shelly, 28, has changed his plea to to “no contest” to one count of attempted robbery.
Shelly faces 1-50 years.
According to a police affidavit, Shelly walked into the Pinnacle Bank location near 108th and Q Street around 11:30 a.m. Tuesday. He allegedly possessed a note that read, “Please don’t give up need cash in drawer.” When police on the scene questioned him, the note was in his pocket.
