Joliet police arrest 4 teen boys after armed robbery spurs shelter-in-place order

JOLIET, Ill. (WLS) -- Four teens were arrested after an armed robbery spurred a shelter-in-place in south suburban Joliet Thursday, police said.
Joliet police responded to the 500-block of Silver Falls Street about 10:55 a.m. for a report of a robbery.
A male suspect had approached two 17-year-old girls, who were sitting in a car parked in the area, and held a gun to one of the girl's necks, while demanding her purse, police said.
