Scam Alert: Fake company posing as Coyote’s Motorcycle Specialtie

BBB® of South Central Louisiana, Inc. today issued a warning to consumers about a fraudulent entity operating online under the name Coyote’s Motorcycles Specialties. This new persona is falsely representing itself as a real, former business on Facebook and potentially other online marketplaces and attempting to deceive unsuspecting customers. According to East Baton Rouge Parish Department of Tax and Revenue, the original business closed on August 31, 2023. Online scammers are attempting to sell items online under this company’s name, taking payment, and never providing the products. BBB® was unable to contact the former ownership of Coyote’s for comment.
