Arkansas man sentenced in Omaha courtroom in multi-state check fraud scheme

OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - The following is a list of federal sentences handed down Friday in Omaha, as provided by U.S. Attorney Susan Lehr’s office in the District of Nebraska.
There is no parole in the federal system.
Ricky Ellis Lamb, 66, originally of Arkansas, was sentenced for passing a fictitious obligation. Lamb was sentenced to time served -- he has been in custody for related charges in several states since August 2019. After his release on additional pending charges, Lamb will serve five years of supervised release. He was also ordered to pay $55,653.16 in restitution to victims of his offense.
