Richfield man charged with alleged check fraud in Eden Prairie

Aammir Rashaad Freese, 29 of Richfield, was charged via summons with one count of check forgery after allegedly cashing checks last July from Marathon Orthodontics in Eden Prairie.
According to a criminal complaint, Eden Prairie Police Department was contacted by a woman who worked at Marathon Orthodontics and told police she received notifications after the business owner decided to retire that someone was attempting to cash checks from the businesses. Two of the attempts were successfully made at the U.S. Bank in Eden Prairie. The transactions were made on July 12 and 15 of 2022.
