Woman defrauded banks out of $32,000, say Windsor police
Windsor Star
Windsor police are hoping the public can help identify a woman who stole $32,000 from banks with the use of a fake driver’s licence.
The crimes occurred from Jan. 4 to 7 at multiple bank branch locations in Windsor.
According to investigators with the Financial Crimes Unit, the suspect presented counterfeit identification and was able to obtain a total of eight cash advances.
A security camera video recording from one of the suspect’s bank visits shows a white adult female, possibly in her 40s.
