Police looking for suspect in 'Oceans 11 type bank robbery'

ABC News 20

NEWCASTLE, Wash. (KOMO) — Newcastle Police and the King County Sheriff's Office are asking for the public's help in identifying a suspect who is accused of attempting to rob a bank in what police called an "Oceans 11 type bank robbery."

Police say on Jan. 3, employees at a Key Bank in Newcastle say they noticed leaking from the ceiling of the bank. It had been raining heavily for several days and they figured there must have been a leak in the roof, so they called their facilities company.

When facilities arrived, police say they climbed to the roof and found a 3'x3' hole had been cut in the roof. Police were called to the bank and employees with the roofing company told police they didn't see any signs that someone was in the hole or the 2-foot space created by a drop ceiling.
