Stolen identity nightmare: Fake healthcare worker wanted in NC lands jobs, apartments — and massive bills — while victim fights for answers

RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) — There are new developments in our investigation of an identity theft case that spans nearly a decade.

CBS 17 first exposed Jenine Marie Ellis for stealing the medical credentials of Jenine Gregory two years ago.

It is a crime she already spent time in prison for.

Now, Ellis is on the run with four active warrants for felony identity theft.
