APPLETON (WLUK) – Martin Schiedermayer pleaded not guilty Wednesday to robbing an Appleton bank. It’s same bank he robbed in 2011, and both times he believed jail was his best option due his financial situation.
Schiedermayer’s attorneys said they anticipate the case being resolved before trial. A status conference on the one count of robbery of a financial institution will be held Feb. 21.
Schiedermayer, 63, allegedly robbed the Wells Fargo bank, 118 S. State Street – just a block west of the Appleton Police Department headquarters, on April 14.
