DENVER (KDVR) — A 72-year-old Denver man was convicted by a federal grand jury of robbing two banks, two credit unions and a taco shop between May and July 2023.
According to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Colorado, Flozell Beasley dressed like a construction worker in each robbery, then threatened each establishment’s employees with a “high-quality replica gun,” before fleeing with the money.
He was arrested on July 11, 2023, after he robbed the Vectra Bank at 1001 E. 17th St. Employees had placed a GPS tracker inside the money stolen from the bank.
