CHICAGO — The FBI’s Chicago Field Office is investigating a bank robbery that unfolded in the Loop on Tuesday afternoon and it may be just one of several robberies committed by a man who agents are calling the “Bare-Chested Bandit.”
Tuesday’s robbery occurred just before 4 p.m. at a Citibank in the 100 block of South Michigan Avenue, and FBI officials believe it is the third bank robbery conducted by the same man at the same Loop bank since mid-September.
Agents are now offering a $1,000 reward for information that could lead directly to his arrest and conviction.
