PUNXSUTAWNEY BOROUGH, Pa. (EYT) — A Punxsutawney man is facing charges for reportedly using his mother’s ATM card to withdraw cash without permission.
According to court documents, the Punxsutawney Borough Police Department filed criminal charges against 55-year-old Troy David Condron, of Punxsutawney, in District Judge Jacqueline J. Mizerock’s office on Friday, June 7.
According to a criminal complaint, Patrolmen Ryan Miller, of the Punxsutawney Borough Police Department, received a request to respond to a bank on Hampton Avenue in Punxsutawney Borough, Jefferson County, around 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 30, regarding the fraudulent use of an ATM card.
The bank manager told police that a customer reported the unauthorized use of her ATM card. Police received information that the victim’s ATM card was used twice without her consent, resulting in withdrawals each time for $200.00, leaving her account less than a total of $400.00, the complaint states.
