VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) – Four people, including one minor, were arrested in connection with an armed robbery on Thursday.
According to officials, just before 2:30 a.m. on June 13 officers were dispatched to the 900 block of Atlantic Avenue for reports of an armed robbery.
Officers used a license plate reader and traffic cameras during the investigation in order to locate the suspect vehicle. The vehicle was found in Newport News, and four people inside of the car were arrested.
Ahmad Goodwin, 27, Zaden McFarland, 19, and Jaheen Tynes, 21, were charged with robbery, conspiracy to commit robbery and use of a firearm in commission of a felony. A 17-year-old was also arrested and charged with robbery, conspiracy to commit robbery, use of a firearm in commission of a felony, juvenile in possession of a firearm and use of a mask.
