ORLANDO, FL (Ivanhoe Newswire) — More than 94 million Americans will use their phones to scan a QR code this year.
However, the Federal Trade Commission has issued a new warning about these handy codes.
From your TV screen to your favorite restaurant, they seem to be everywhere you look.
QR codes, short for “quick response” codes, allow users to access information instantly from their phone or device.
But the Federal Trade Commission says they can also be used to steal your personal information.
