FITCHBURG, Wis. (WFRV) – A woman who was on extended supervision for prior bank robbery convictions was arrested after allegedly robbing one Wisconsin bank and attempting to rob another on the same day.
According to the Fitchburg Police Department, officers initially responded to an Associated Bank in the 3000 block of Fish Hatchery Road for a hold-up alarm on February 21.
When officers arrived, they learned that a suspect, later identified as 38-year-old Lisa Harding, allegedly entered the bank, demanded cash, and fled with an undisclosed amount of money.
In a second release, the following day, officers say they found the suspect’s vehicle around 9:30 a.m. on Thursday but after an attempt to make contact, Harding allegedly fled, leading to a pursuit.
