Man arrested for multiple bank robberies across Tucson

TUCSON (KVOA) - A man was taken into custody Thursday in connection to three bank robberies that occurred in September.
According to Tucson Police Department, Jesus Fragoso was arrested Thursday by TPD and South Tucson Police Department Officer in connection to an investigation into a robbery at the Wells Fargo located at 145 E. 22nd St. near Sixth Avenue.
TPD said after further investigation, the 29-year-old was also charged with two other bank robberies, one of which occurred at the U.S. Bank inside the Safeway located at 1940 E. Broadway Blvd. near Campbell Avenue on Sept. 1.
