Fraudulent Savings Bonds being presented to open new accounts

FRPA received the following information:
Fraudulent Savings Bonds presented in the amounts of $5,000 and $10,000 by non-customer looking to establish deposit accounts and cash savings bonds out. Serial numbers were confirmed as legitimate; however, Bond Owner and Date of Issue were confirmed as fraud by TreasuryDirect.
