New Bedford man, working for T-Mobile, accused of stealing IDs from customer cell phones

DARTMOUTH – A 30-year-old New Bedford man, working for T-Mobile was arrested last week, accused of stealing identities from at least two customers.
According to a news release from Dartmouth police, on Thursday, December 10 at approximately 11:35 a.m., Dartmouth detectives arrested Nathaniel Duarte-Souto, 30, of Front Street, New Bedford, on a warrant associated with identity fraud and larceny over $1,200.
After receiving information from the Middletown, Rhode Island Police Department concerning a victim whose identity was allegedly stolen by a T-Mobile store employee in Dartmouth, Detective Jose Catana initiated an investigation.
